GAVIN ROSSDALE On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'; Performance, Interview Footage Available - May 24, 2008
Former BUSH and INSTITUTE frontman Gavin Rossdale performed his new single, entitled "Love Remains the Same", and took part in a short interview on yesterday's (May 23) episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Watch the footage below.

"Love Remains the Same" is the first single from Rossdale's upcoming solo album, "Wanderlust", due out June 3.

According to Billboard.com, Rossdale's wife, Gwen Stefani, lends vocals to the track "Some Days". The album was produced by Bob Rock and finds Rossdale collaborating with drummer Josh Freese, guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Paul Bushnell and keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac.

The record will feature the first new music from Rossdale since he dissolved INSTITUTE, the band he formed a couple of years back after BUSH went on hiatus.

In a June 2007 interview with Ryan Seacrest of KIIS FM in Los Angeles, Rossdale stated about his solo album, "It's really kind of atmospheric and good. And I'm really excited about it."

Not sure why they won't post it, but hey, I'm excited.

Rossdale used to date that UK transvestite singer 'Marilyn' in the late '80s.

It was some weird rumour I heard, so am looking for a confirmation or denial.
Either way I don't give a rats ass. His music sucks anyway.

So true. Seriously, this dude is just soooo metal...ha. He needs to resurrect Bush if he is going to keep pushing forward in the music/entertainment biz. He sucks on his own. For that matter, Bush is sucky, too.

I used to listen to metal until i watched this performance. Now i realise that middle of the road acoustic ballads are the only genre i need.

Thanks Blabbermouth!

When I want mellow music to have sex with my girlfriend to, I give the nod to Matchbox Twenty. Sorry Gavin. Can't believe you were in Bush once. *shakes head*

"GAVIN ROSSDALE... the new nickleback"

Actually, Bush came first thus making Nickelback the new Gavin Rossdale. Or something like that.

Don't know about him dating UK transvestite singer 'Marilyn' in the late '80s, but I've heard from a few people that he is bi-sexual.

A friend of mine was in a band that played with one of his earlier bands(Midnight, I believe they were called) and said that he was very open about his sexuality.
