Toby Ryan of
Roxwel.com recently sat down with the lead singer of
EAGLES OF DEATH METAL,
Jesse Hughes, to talk about the band's live performances, life, the new
EAGLES album
"Heart On", and, most of all, rock 'n' roll. Along with the interview there is footage of
EODM at Stubb's in Austin, Texas performing
"Anything 'Cept The Truth" and
"I Like To Move In The Night".
EAGLES OF DEATH METAL — which features
Hughes alongside
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE mainman
Josh Homme — will release its third album,
"Heart On", on October 28 through
Downtown Music. The CD includes guest appearances from
Homme's wife and
DISTILLERS frontwoman
Brody Dalle, and
Kat Von D, the tattoo artist on the
"L.A. Ink" television series and
Nikki Sixx's girlfriend.
EAGLES OF DEATH METAL's
"Peace, Love, Death Metal" debut came out in 2004 and was followed by 2006's
"Death By Sexy".
Homme is not part of the band's touring lineup, which includes
Hughes alongside guitarist
Dave Catching, bassist/singer
Brian O'Connor and drummer
Joey Castillo.
