CARCASS, SUFFOCATION, SAMAEL Confirmed For CALIFORNIA METALFEST - Jan. 21, 2009
CARCASS, SUFFOCATION and SAMAEL are among the confirmed bands for the third annual California Metalfest, set to take place Saturday, March 28 t the Grove in Anaheim, California.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

ARSIS
DECREPIT BIRTH
VEIL OF MAYA
PSYCROPTIC


More bands will be announced soon.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, January 24 at 12:00 p.m.

Whether you agree with the direction they've taken on their last few albums or not, Samael are legends who have established themselves through two decades of quality releases. To put a band like White Chapel, who were at best in diapers when Samael dropped their first demo, above them is a travesty.

And isn't their new album is supposed to be more metal?

Regardless, that's still a very lame move by whoever set that lineup.
