ROB HALFORD Launches New Apparel Company - Apr. 27, 2009
The world of rock and roll has one Metal God — Rob Halford. The multi-gold and -platinum producer, songwriter, vocalist has graced the world's largest stages for decades leading with his solo acts HALFORD and FIGHT, as well as the legendary JUDAS PRIEST.

Developing new standards for the rock and metal genres with blazing vocals, dynamic themes, adorned head-to-toe in glass, leather and steel — The Metal God is universally recognized as an artist whom continually inspires and drives today’s global hard rock industry.

With an eye on defining consumer-fashions for today's rock and roll lifestyles, Metal God Entertainment and Rob Halford are pleased to debut a new garment entity: Metal God Apparel.

With pre-sale beginning today and shipments commencing June 15, 2009, Metal God Apparel will debut dozens of new, edgy designs this year for youth, teens, men and women. Metal God Apparel reproduced on custom-dyed, cotton tees integrating the newest fashion technology — resulting in an extremely attractive, lightweight, soft-to-touch, active-wear for today's global music audiences.

This metal god thing is getting a bit out of hand lately. How about releasing some decent music again, which I haven't heard since resurrection? He could at least do some stage acting again making contact with the audience instead of looking to the ground for his lyrics all the time.

Rob hasn't acted god-like for quite some time now! And don't get me wrong - I'm a huge priest fan!

Resurrection was fucking amazing, though. Crucible wasn't bad either.

Looks like Rob is becoming quite a businessman in the waning days of his wild metal career.

I think he's pretty damned smart to be doing things like this...I look at a lot of these aging metal musicians and wonder what they plan on doing once they retire.

Rob has been planning ahead on the next phase of his career with his Metal God Entertainment brand for a couple of years now. Smart move.

I used to think, damn straight Rob is the Metal God! (no pun intended). But now, I am beginning to wonder. Rob now isn't Rob of the mid-80s, when he was truly the Metal God. This clothing line, while I understand his right to earn as many bucks as he wants to, doesn't help his Godly image. I really think the title now belongs to either Ronnie James Dio or perhaps Kai Hansen. Or maybe MAIDEN as a whole. These days, these guys are more likely to perform at a Godly level than Rob, though that takes nothing away from his past glory.

Although, I really wish they were, because I love Halford and Priest. I would gladly support his clothing line if the clothes were decent looking. C'mon Rob, print up a few classic designs for us old schoolers! Something simple like the British Steel razor blade.

2. Trying to figure out if T-Boner is really Riot Act.

3. Buying one of these lame-assed t-shirts.

Not so sure this is a "gay ripoff of Affliction" as previously mentioned especially since there are hundreds of other clothing lines that do similar designs. I personally think these designs are tired and weak and have already been done better by someone else years ago. I've never been a huge fan of the all over the shirt graphics that pretty much most clothing lines do to death. I guess it's hard to do anything new and fresh when you are 57 yrs old

Wras-ling is retarded, so I wouldn't buy one of their shirts that might hint to some redneck love of such a dumb event. I will never call it a sport.

These designs are pretty cool to me, but they are a bit too high for my clothing budget. I dont mind spending more, but give me something better then just a fucking cotton t-shirt.

Its a shame there are no chaps. My gf might like to see me in them.
