ADLER And STRADLIN Complete Two Songs, Five More On The Way - Mar. 20, 2004
The following update was posted on The Official Steven Adler Fansite:

"Steven returned from LA with a CD-R featuring two songs of his collaboration with Izzy [Stradlin]! One new original song, and a cover of the classic oldie, 'Do you Love Me?' Izzy's friend JT flew in from Texas. He plays bass on the tracks and he also engineered the session. Izzy took the lead vocal duty and Steven contributed backing vocals. The songs were recorded at Izzy's home on his digital 8-track. They did about five takes of each song, and Steven was surprised when JT complimented him by saying, 'Dude, you are an amazing drummer!' Steven says the recording sounds 'fucking great!' and would like to send the tracks to some radio stations, most likely those in Europe. Also, the three of them plan to return in April to record five more songs! In other news, [guitarist] Brent Muscat [FASTER PUSSYCAT, ADLER'S APPETITE] recently bought a house in Vegas, and [vocalist] Jizzy [Pearl, RATT, LOVE/HATE, ADLER'S APPETITE] has moved in with him. They will begin writing songs for an original ADLER'S APPETITE record, which should be finished by late summer and hopefully out by the end of the year. Robbie and Keri [Kelli, ADLER'S APPETITE, ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT] are staying with Steven this weekend. Tonight they have a gig at The Beach club, which will be sponsored by the guitar and amp company, Carvin. Singer John Corabi (THE SCREAM, MÖTLEY CRÜE) will be contributing lead vocals. After the show Steven, Brent and Jizzy plan to join them on stage. If it doesn't happen at the Beach, it will certainly transpire at the after party at their favorite local hangout, The Tailspin. Pretty cool, huh?!"

Adlers Appetite is kind of a dumb band name. I always liked Suki Jones, a nice little homage to Aerosmith.

that velvet revolver doesnt sound like stp (I'm afraid it will...that soundclip on the fan site sure as hell did)

that Izzy's albums were released in the states

that Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven all got back together with Duff and Izzy singing.

blacksunshine-
Is that from Zombie?

I think that VR sounds a whole,whole like STP.
I have the live at the Elrey show on dvd and wth Scott doing the vocals -Its STP with Slash on guitar...
Not a bad thing in my book though...I like STP & GUNS.
So to marry the 2 is a match made in heaven .

I wanted Sebastian Bach to sing fr VR and that got shot down !

I agree ="Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven should have got back together with Duff and Izzy singing."
That would be cool.
They should have did that to start !
(Izzy wanted to do that), But Slash n' Duff wanna hit the big time again.

Weiland=money

Boils down to :
All the people/bands I just mentioned above will/do/ and will always rock in some way,shape or fashion!!!

Is Adler even friends with any of the ex Gn'R members in VR? I always thought they should have had the vocalist from the last Snakepit cd instead of Weiland, it's a great cd.

Adler is friends wih everyone.
He is a super cool guy.
Easy going (no rock star ego b.s.)
So yes! - He is friends with Slash(his old highschool buddy)...
and Duff
and Izzy (in which Izzy has him drum on new songs)-
I think ADLER'S APPETITE is gonna have Izzy write for them in a trade fo the drum work?!

The singer on the last Snakekepit("life is gread")...
is Rod Jackson and yeah he is pretty damn good and has different style/classic sorta.

angerinc=rock on !

even though this aint Guns n Roses, the songs will actually be pretty good considering Izzy was the mastermind behind Appetite and wrote most of the songs. SO i'm looking forward to hearing some of this stuff and hopefully if it all works out Velvet Revolver can tour with Adlers appetite, and play a little reunion w/out Axl.
