NEW SITE CHANGES!

You may have noticed that over the past few months quiet changes have been made to the site. First we gave you new artist pages. Check out your favorite and you'll find widgets, videos, music, and much more. Plus they look great.

A few weeks back we also updated our Artists page. You'll see highlighted artists up top in blue. These change as artists are updated with news, video, and music. This is a great page to make your first port-of-call after the news section!

Today we've relaunched three other pages. Music and Video are all new. You can now embed all of our music and video posted to the site in your blog, web site, or MySpace/Facebook profiles. At the right of these pages you'll see charts driven by what YOU do on our site. You can also leave comments at all songs and videos, rate them, and favorite them in our new profile system (more on that in a sec).

The Releases page has gotten a huge makeover. Every album now has its own home page where you can see the available tracks, rate it, leave a review, or comment on others' reviews. Snazzy huh?

Finally, we just launched our new profile pages. If you're a subscriber to our email newsletters, you can log in, add your own picture, keep track of the latest updates on our site (and partner sites), follow your favorite videos and music, and tell us what bands you want to hear about.

Of course, many of these new features require that you be a member of the site to use them, so please join today!

We are, of course, in a beta phase and need your help to make the site work the best for YOU. If you see any problems or want to suggest changes to the new features, please send an email to webmaster@roadrunnerrecords.com with "NEW SITE REPORT" in the subject line. If you receive an error, please be as detailed as possible, including what page you were on, what browser you are using, and copy any error message you receive into the body of the email.

ILL NINO AND ROADRUNNER, MOOOOVING ON

Why did Ill Nino part ways with Roadrunner Records? What's Ill Nino going to do now? Drummer, Dave Chavarri explains: "Ok everybody, We want to fill you in on what's presently going on with Ill Nino. Let me start by saying that the split between Roadrunner and Ill Nino was an amicable split, and that we're thankful for all the good times we had with Roadrunner in the past 5 years. A brand new beginning for us, we're all very excited to tell everyone that we have just signed a deal with Cement Shoes/Universal. Cement shoes is the brainchild of Dan Catullo who is the founder of Coming Home Sudios (Godsmack, Rush, Marylin Manson, Matchbox 20, Usher, and others) At the moment Ill Nino is in Los Angeles, California recording a 5 song EP with 2 brand new Ill Nino songs, and 3 cover songs, from bands that we respect and love! This 5 song EP is to be released this coming fall on Cement Shoes/Universal, just as a taste of what's to come in Spring 2007. After we finish recording and mixing this EP, we will start rehearsals for our upcoming European Festival tour that starts on August, 10th and brings us to Hungary, Czeck Republic, Poland, Holland, and Denmark. As reported in our partner site Blabbermouth, guitarist Marc Rizzo of Soulfly (ex-Ill Nino) will be performing live tomorrow night, April 11, at 10:00 p.m. on New Jersey's WSOU 89.5 FM radio station. The lineup for the Roadrunner 25TH Anniversary concert at the Nokia Theater in NYC on 12/15/05 is now official. Until now a closely-guarded secret list of metal luminaries, the rumors that have been circulating within the rock community and on many websites are being confirmed as this new information is brought to light... Boasting one of the most impressive line-ups ever assembled on one stage, the concert will feature over 35 artists who will perform 24 classic Roadrunner songs ranging from the King Diamond era, all the way through the recently released Roadrunner United album. Three new participants have been announced to participate in Roadrunner's 25th Anniversary Concert, taking place at the Nokia Theater in Times Square on Thursday, December 15th. These are none other than former Judas Priest and current Iced Earth singer Ripper Owens, Shadows Fall vocalist Brian Fair, and Seemless singer Jesse Leach - ex-Killswitch Engage (could a KSE original member reunion be in the works???) Jamey Jasta, host of MTV2's Headbanger's Ball and frontman for Hatebreed, has been confirmed to MC Roadrunner Records' 25th Anniversary concert.
