Nickelback Donates $50,000 To Charity, Asks Others To Join In

 
The Canadian band Pardon My Striptease recently wrote the song "Pray (For L.J.)" for cancer-stricken one-year-old Lilee-Jean Putt, and it's currently right behind Nickelback on the iTunes Rock singles chart. As a result, Pardon My Striptease have issued a challenge through local media for Nickelback to match funds raised via the song, and the band has agreed to do so, issuing their own challenge to local media at the same time. "We're moved by the efforts of Pardon My Striptease to raise money for BC Children's Hospital and are happy and excited to take part.
