Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor's book, Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good, has hit the New York Times bestseller list. You can see the list here; Seven Deadly Sins is at #26, right between former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger's On China and...Shit My Dad Says. Anyway, this made us think that other Roadrunner artists probably have stories to tell, and philosophies of life, that readers would enjoy.

The online music-streaming service Spotify recently launched in the US, and while it's presently invite-only, it's pretty easy to get signed up if you want to - and you should. There are three tiers: you can listen to music for free, with commercial interruptions every two or three songs; you can pay $5 a month and hear no commercials; or you can pay $10 a month and get commercial-free music that you can also stream to your phone or iPod.

The Dutch site FaceCulture recently shot a lengthy video interview with Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt, which can be seen in five parts below. Opeth's new album Heritage will be out September 20; without giving too much away, it presents a whole new vision of Opeth as a band. There are songs on Heritage that sound like nothing the group has ever done before.
