A lot of Roadrunner bands have new albums out or coming soon: Theory of a Deadman and Trivium's latest are already out, and Dream Theater, Opeth, and Machine Head will all be releasing hotly anticipated new albums in September. Theory Of A Deadman's "Lowlife" #1 On Active Rock Radio

 
Theory of a Deadman's latest album, The Truth Is…, debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard album charts last month, and now the band are topping the Active Rock Chart hitting the #1 spot this week with the first single, “Lowlife.” This is the third #1 single of their career, following “Bad Girlfriend” and “So Happy” from their last album, the platinum-selling Scars & Souvenirs. “Lowlife” has also sold more than 60,000 singles since its release on iTunes. The “Lowlife” video stars Donal Logue (from the hit sitcom Grounded For Life and the underrated, now-cancelled Terriers) as the title character and antihero, and can be seen below: Theory of a Deadman has been together for over a decade and has created a sound that fans worldwide have embraced through their previous releases: 2008's Scars & Souvenirs, 2005's Gasoline, and 2002's self-titled debut. The band will be heading out on this summer’s Carnival of Madness tour alongside Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way and Emphatic, beginning August 13 in Twin Lakes, WI.

Theory of a Deadman's tour in support of their new album, The Truth Is..., kicks off next week. The Carnival of Madness tour also includes Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge, Adelitas Way and Emphatic. The first show is at the Full Throttle Saloon Amphitheater in Sturgis, SD on Wednesday, August 10, and the tour runs through September 18, winding up at the Montgomery Fairgrounds in Dayton, OH.
