Top Ten Turmoil, Twenty Twelve My bandmates and I typically prefer to opt out of "top tens." The "top ten albums list" is usually a subject of heavy criticism (and justifiably so) from all angles. One argument against the creation of "a list" is that all contents contained will be subjected to intense scrutiny from multiple parties from multiple stances who will be reading the top ten list. Colorful, classic reactions from the punters will include commentary like: "This list isn't metal enough.

The lineup and dates for the annual Soundwave Festival in Australia was released today, and while we already told you that Trivium would be performing, we soon realized that the show was practically a Roadrunner event, as 16 current or former Roadrunner bands are scheduled to perform. Don't believe us.
Sometimes you can lose track of all the stuff you've done because you're just too busy doing it. The year's far from over - we've got albums from Opeth, Machine Head, The Parlor Mob, Megadeth and Nickelback still to come - but it's already been a damn strong one in terms of releases.
Times of Grace have released a video for their song "Live In Love" that's a far cry from the typical performance clip or moody, abstract visuals. Indstead, the band has chosen to use the video to spotlight the Rise Above Foundation and that organization's important cause.
The annual Heavy MTL Festival was held in Montreal on July 23 and 24, and five Roadrunner acts played - DevilDriver, Machine Head, Opeth, Times of Grace and Trivium all performed for the massive crowd.
