Video: Trivium Performs Three Acoustic Songs Live On Radio

 
On Friday, October 21, Trivium performed live in the studio of the West Palm Beach, Florida radio station 103.1 The Buzz. They taped acoustic versions of three songs - their latest single, "Built to Fall," "Dying in Your Arms," from their 2005 Roadrunner debut Ascendancy, and a cover of Iron Maiden's "Iron Maiden." Trivium's Corey Beaulieu Interviewed By Lithium Magazine Online

 
Trivium guitarist Corey Beaulieu was interviewed by LithiumMagazine.com when the band performed (along with Dream Theater) in Toronto. In the course of the conversation, he reveals some of the secrets behind the band's video for "In Waves" (and the clip for "Built to Fall," which serves as a sequel of sorts), talks about why the band maintains a strong online presence, and explains why the sequencing of the CD/DVD special edition of In Waves incorporates the bonus tracks, rather than just tacking them on at the end. Says Beaulieu of the "In Waves" video, "we rented out a scuba training facility, and with the magic of lighting and camera work, we kind of made it look like something completely different.
