DOWN bassist Rex Brown has told Billboard.com that there's "a lot of material left over" from 2007's "Over the Under" album, which was recently released in a deluxe edition through Best Buy. The outtakes will be considered for the fourth DOWN album, but Brown added that the quintet is also "writing constantly on the road. We still have all these ideas, and we play a lot of new stuff at sound check, just to feel it out. Hopefully we can get back in the studio in the fall and work on something." Also in the works is a documentary of DOWN's 2006 reunion after a nearly four-year hiatus, including both live and behind-the-scenes footage. "It's kind of about us learning how to walk together again," Brown said. "It just chronicles the life on the road of us starting to play again. We're right in the middle of it now."

...after the last CD, which blew, this band is dead.
... and the "family" of similar bands they are dragging along with them makes this a boring bill.

Sheesh, it seems like Florida is the barren wasteland these days. Only about 4-5 good shows a year.

I get to see them two nights in a row. First, here at home in Atl, then up in Nashville where I go to school. Both dates take place during Spring Break. Sweet shit!

lundtheconqueror - you're an idiot. you honestly think these bands are similar? none of the four of these bands sound anything at all alike.

something isn't right w/ these dates...they all conflict with dates that Hank III has posted on his site.

I'd love for a NY date. Hell, come to Poughkeepsie, so I don't have to travel as far. I saw Phil once with Pantera, I'd love to catch a Down show.

oh, btw..the new CD's not that bad. Definately a step up from the II album

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Down always skips Dallas (Im assuming due to the bad blood between Phil Anselmo).

They seemed to be when Hank III was on the bill, but since he left and no official confirmation and seemingly conflicting dates with venues, it's obvious the tour has been pushed back a bit. Rumor has it to March.

these dates are wrong, the tour got pushed back, cause Phil tore his ACL. The tour will start May 3rd, but not all dates are confirmed.
