LIFE OF AGONY: New European Dates Announced - Feb. 5, 2009
Influential New York metal/hardcore band LIFE OF AGONY is currently booking a European tour that will take place this August. The following festival dates have been confirmed:

Aug. 08 - Festivalgelande - Bildein, Austria
Aug. 15 - Summer Breeze Festival - Dinkelsbühl, Germany
Aug. 21 - Nirwana Tuinfeest Festival - Lierop, Holland
Aug. 22 - Pukkelpop - Hasselt, Belgium

LIFE OF AGONY spent most of 2006 and early 2007 on a break after completing its successful touring cycle for the 2005 Epic Records release, "Broken Valley". The band is currently without a record deal, having parted ways with Epic in 2005.

In related news, LIFE OF AGONY singer Keith Caputo has launched a personal blog via his web site. He plans on using it as a personal avenue to become more interactive with all of his fans.

Bassist Alan Robert announced that he has written and created a new horror comic series called Wire Hangers that will be coming out later this year. More information is available at www.wirehangerscomic.com.

Drummer Sal Abruscato's project MY MORTALITY is auditioning for two new guitarists. If you have a pro attitude, are an all-around great musician, have pro gear (Gibson guitars preferred), great image, an open mind, transportation, no ego and the ability to learn songs quickly, contact the band through their official MySpace page.

Video footage of LIFE OF AGONY performing live at Crocodile Rock Café in Allentown, Pennsylvania can be viewed below (clip courtesy of Tgod Television).

River Runs Red is one of my all time favorite albums.

Never heard Broken Valley...how is it?

And is Joey Z still in the band?

Yes Joey Z is still with LOA.

And Broken Valley is a pretty good album , and plus it has the original line up on it. Just like on river runs red.

The only LOA album that didn't have the original line up is 1997's Soul Searching Sun.

That album had Keith Caputo , Joey Z , Alan Robert. But Sal who is the original drummer wasn't on that record. they had a guy named dan richardson on drums. so it's just half the river runs red line up. you get the point.

Sorry for the third post Bori , just trying to help out the poster.

actually, sal was just a fill in for the RRR sessions, so really SSS had a new fill in drummer, but the same two main songwriters.

joey, sal, al, and keith are all in Life of Agony right now, and though i did hear some stuff from one of the guys about a new album one day, it doesnt look like it will be any time soon. which is a shame. i think they should be the biggest band in the world.

those aren't an authentic band after what i saw. shirts until they decide to take their new shit full haul again and actually tour. And I don't mean their backyard, a one off and Europe for the umpteenth time. Fuck these sparse pseudo-reunion type deals they've been sporadically farting out. Do a N. American club tour and get some RESPECT goin on again. FACK! Quit supporting this lazy cash grab scenario and sock it to em. THey need to hear ittry anything twice. If it's no good after that, then fuck it
keith seems to be the only one in it for the long haul!!maya or keith seem to be taking away posts on keiths forum about the fight, thankgod little keith wasnt getting punched up!!!keith should just stick with his own thing anyway, its a million times better..
