Bassist Henkka Seppälä (a.k.a. Henkka T. Blacksmith) of Finnish metallers CHILDREN OF BODOM has told FemaleFirst that the band is planning on releasing a collection of covers sometime in the fall. The set is expected to feature most of the group's previously released cover versions, including the following: * "Aces High" by IRON MAIDEN * "Don't Stop At The Top" by the SCORPIONS * "Hellion" by W.A.S.P. * "Mass Hypnosis" by SEPULTURA * "No Commands" by STONE * "Shot In The Dark" by OZZY OSBOURNE * "Iron, Steel, Metal" by WIZZARD * "Rebel Yell" by BILLY IDOL * "Talk Dirty To Me" by POISON * "Latomeri" by KLAMYDIA * "Bed Of Nails" by ALICE COOPER * "She Is Beautiful" by ANDREW W.K. * "Silent Scream" by SLAYER * "Somebody Put Something in My Drink" by the RAMONES * "Oops!... I Did It Again" by BRITNEY SPEARS The U.S. branch of Spinefarm Records released the following CHILDREN OF BODOM titles on limited-edition picture disc vinyl on January 13: * "Blooddrunk" (2008) * "Tokyo Warhearts" (2006) * "Are You Dead Yet?" (2005) * "Follow the Reaper (2000) * "Hatebreeder" (1999) * "Something Wild" (1997) Each title is individually numbered and is limited to 1,500 copies, making it an instant collector's item! This is nothing more than a record company trying to milk a band's name for every last cent, and water down a band's reputation!

They used to be really good and weren't Hot Topic mall metal, but the last couple of albums have definitely placed them in that category.

Recycled shit. I liked CoF when they first came out too, now I wont even listen to the first few albums I am jusst so sick of'em. What I mean is I like COB but the last couple albums sound like the last couple albums before that and before that. There needs to be some variation. The same ol' thing is so bland. But I hope they dont read this I dont want them to take it the wrong way and release a duet with Janet Jackson or Tone Loc. Actually that might be cool Der D,der der Wild thing, Wah Wah, Der D,der der Something wild thing! Wild thing She loved to do the wild thing

I don't have most of these songs here in america, so...
T-Boner, way to show your ignorance, bro. I listen to what I like, not what is or isn't on H.T. or what others think. I listen to Motley Crue, so what? I listen to Opeth, wow big deal.
Cue to start crying on 3, 2, 1...

least they're all good covers, but everything has been released before like a few posters already mentioned.
T-Boner, is it the thrill of trolling or your love of caps-lock that forces you to continuously post nonsensical, immature and utterly meaningless crap on Blabbermouth? You give the rest of us a horrible name (which is a fairly difficult thing to accomplish) and somehow manage to lower the intelligence level to stupefying new lows. In this particular example, the sad thing is you may as well just have told everybody you buy all your music at Hot Topic so you know you've seen their shirts in there.

and, for the record, Hot Topic buys shirts and merch based on sales and popularity, so of course you're going to see T-Shirts for about 30 different bands in there, which all change depending on your market location. A shirt you can buy in Wichita at Hot Topic might not be available at H.T. in Boston. Point in case, you can buy Arsonists Get All the Girls shirts in select HT's in California, but you can only order their T-Shirts from the band online in Massachusetts.
I'm not saying everybody should run out to their mall and get a musical education, but I'm just saying not everything you find in one is the tool of the devil.

Why does everyone give these two such a hard time? Is it just because they aren't so negative? I say keep up the positivity boys! Negativity won't get you anywhere. Besides T-Boner likes Silverchair so I gotta give him some props. I guarantee someone will be posting negative things about me now...watch out for karma.

making fun of a store in the mall and the people who shop there is something a 12 year old girl would do. the same goes for whining about the bands you don't like who cares if something is sold in hot topic, you little zero self-esteem having pussy bitch. are you upset that you got your first period yesterday? leave the real discussion to the intelligent people here. if any of you bitches quit listening to a band you like because some teenager has their shirt, then you are a douchebag.

Maybe I don't understand the fundamental logistics of livingm in the big old USA but what the hell does the location of your t-shirt sales have to do with the integrity or quality of your band. Shit man, T-shirts are just about the only way to make money for these bands anymore. They aren't concert tours anymore, they're a large group of travelling t-shirt salesmen.

It's sickening to read all the crap that people spew out their mouths whenever a band gets popular. It can be any metal band and as soon as they get on the cover of a magazine, radio or tv they automatically suck and are talentless. It's like the whole poser BS that people used to say about every band. When in reality the ones saying such things were actually posers. If you don't like them no more because a lot of people do, then don't. Go and listen to your no-name stuff, until they get noticed, if they ever do.
