TOOL Co-Headlining Second 'All Points West'
- Mar. 31, 2009
According to The Pulse of Radio, TOOL, COLDPLAY and the BEASTIE BOYS will headline the second annual All Points West Music & Arts Festival, which will return to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on July 31, August 1 and August 2. Also among the more than 55 acts appearing at the event will be the YEAH YEAH YEAHS, VAMPIRE WEEKEND, MGMT, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, ARCTIC MONKEYS and many others. The BEASTIE BOYS will headline on Friday, July 31, while TOOL will close the show on Saturday, August 1. COLDPLAY will wrap up the festival on Sunday, August 2.
Tickets for All Points West go on sale this Friday (April 3) through Ticketmaster.com. Single-day tickets are $89, while three-day passes are $199 for a limited time. As a sign of the current economic climate, layaway plans are also available.
The show's producers announced that they have improved and increased light rail and ferry transportation to the park, a chief concern following last year's inaugural event.

How very sweet of Ticketmaster to look out for their customers, especially in these rough economic times. Glad to see tickets can be put on layaway instead of reducing the cost of the ridiculous surcharges and convenience fees.
It's also nice to see Tool isn't too lazy to pass up summer festival cashgrabs.

Enough with the one-off festival announcements, please announce the dates for this summer tour we've all been waiting for
