FAITH NO MORE will release "The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection" on June 8 in the U.K. via Rhino Records.

This double disc set contains the band's greatest hits on the first CD, while the second CD will feature b-sides and rarities.

FAITH NO MORE rehearsed on March 4, 2009 for the first time in over 10 years, according to a Twitter update by the group's bassist, Billy Gould.

So far, no North American appearances are on the radar, but according to Gould, "U.S. shows are not out of the question."

As speculated, original guitarist Jim Martin will not be part of the reunion. Performing in his place will be Jon Hudson, who played with FAITH NO MORE during the latter stages of its initial run after Martin departed.

The rest of the band's best-known lineup — singer Mike Patton, Gould, drummer Mike "Puffy" Bordin and keyboardist Roddy Bottum — will be intact.

I see they aren't playing anywhere on June 18th. Why don't stop off in France and play a set on the camp site stage at Hellfest !

Angel Dust is one of my all time favorite albums, along with Godflesh´s Streetcleaner, Alice in Chains´Dirt, Exodus´Another lesson in violence and Celtic Frost´s Into the Pandemonium.
And yes, I hope the Faith No More lads record a new album

It is also one of my favs along with Piece Of Mind, Blackwater Park, Dirt and Rage For Order.

hijacked by the poser/pseudo-snob/dance Lowlands festival, FNM and Hank III, and since the Low Netherlands are such a small country no separate club dates.

But our neighbours to the South, with Pukkelpop, have Opeth and Cavalera Conspiracy on the same day at their Belgium also poser/snob/dance festival, so I may go there.

Take a close look at the above dates. Now look at the dates that I have posted below.

2009 30 Jul FAIRFAX, VA US PATRIOT CENTER Latest
2009 29 Jul CHARLOTTE, NC US BOJANGLE'S COLISEUM Latest
2009 27 Jul DULUTH, GA US GWINNETT ARENA Latest
2009 25 Jul Dallas, TX US Nokia Theater at Grand Prairie Latest
2009 24 Jul SAN ANTONIO, TX US AT&T CENTER Latest
2009 22 Jul RIO RANCHO, NM US SANTA ANA STAR CENTER Latest
2009 21 Jul PHOENIX, AZ US US AIRWAYS ARENA Latest
2009 19 Jul Salt Lake City, UT US EnergySolutions Latest
2009 18 Jul DENVER, CO US THE FIELDS AT DICK'S SPORTING GOODS PARK Latest.

For those wondering what those dates represent, those are all of the non festival appearances for Tool. There's a 13 day break at the beginning and an 8 day break at the end. It is quite possible that FNM will be the as yet unnamed opening act for his good buddy Maynard. I got my tix!!!!

COMMENT | FNM will probably not tour america

fnm, as great as they are, couldn't possibly sell as many tickets as these other hip non-musical popular commercial-metal acts.

mostly because the majority of you would rather see disturbed or some other horrible yet popular band.

in this case, it is not worth their time to play the US, even NorAmerica for that matter.

we all did this...together. stop supporting crapmetal
