PRETTY BOY FLOYD To Release New Album, Covers CD, Live DVD - Nov. 17, 2009
Formed in 1987, PRETTY BOY FLOYD is most famous for its 1989 LP "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz" and the two singles from it, "Rock and Roll (Is Gonna Set the Night on Fire)" and "I Wanna Be With You".

This year brings upon the 20th anniversary of "Leather Boyz" where founding members Steve "Sex" Summers and Kristy "Krash" Majors, along with newcomers Criss 6 and drummer Troy Patrick Farrell (WHITE LION). will embark on a four-week tour starting in Japan, on to Australia, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy and finally back in Los Angeles.

Plans for 2010 include the release of a new original album as well as a covers CD and a DVD of the 20th-anniversary tour.

I wouldn't mind seeing them with Kristy back in the band. The last 2 times I saw them they were terrible.

I can't believe this band is doing a world tour, nor can I believe they're actually coming out here. [Australia]. I don't know a single person from the metal days of olde, who liked this band, let alone listened to them.

glam metal at its finest .... the Leather Boys album cover is classic
if it wasn't for that fuckin Nirvana, PBF would have been bigger than Jesus

In the glam era, this band was a lot of fun, still listen to Leather Boyz. Those coming here to diss the band obviously were born in the 80's and most likely listening to nursery rhymes at the time. These guys came in too late, on the tail end of glam and were a refreshing change from all the ballad crap that I feel killed it off.

Only thing I wonder about, they adapted their look nicely, but all of them with all their hair? No way. Plugs? Wigs? Seriously, whatever it is, I need to do that, starting to recede here :)

I would go see this, waiting for USA.
