These are RUMORED dates. There is no saying they won't hit your city. And even if they don't, so what? Just make a road trip.

I swear, all people do on this site is bitch and whine when a band doesn't tour close to them. God forbid you actually have to get in the car and drive!

I spoke to the bass player of High on Fire on a Gigantour stop. He did tell me that they were coming back in the fall with Opeth. I missed them at Gigantour but I'm so there for this tour.

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe, just maybe, you have to miss a tour now and then??? *GASP*

I live in Columbus, OH and we get some decent shows now and then, but most go to Cleveland. Guess what, I don't drive there if I have to work the next morning. I don't need to see every single tour of every single band I like...I'd be broke.

I was in Kuwait for almost 15 months and missed a lot of good shows. It sucked but I lived. So stop your complaining, if you miss it you miss it. It's not like your life is going to end if you don't see the almighty Opeth.

Besides, IMHO, Opeth is the only decent band on this bill.

There are a lot of tours I want to see that are skipping Detroit. I hope one of these unconfirmed dates brings this one through here. I might have to drive to Cleveland.

looks like theres a chance after milwaukee, for a weekend show in MN that would be the shit!! Sept 27 or 28 **fingers crossed*

If you want to see a band that bad just carpool with buds split the gas and fucking drive, if your too pussy to do that, than maybe you shouldn't bitch at all, just wait till 4 years till the next headlining show...NOT.

Amon Amarth, Opeth, The Haunted, and Gojira are going to own the fall of 2008!!! Probably all gonna be touring within 2 months of each other!!

COMMENT | I have CONFIRMED 2/3 of those dates.

wasnt trying to offend anyone either who live in more rural parts of the US. And yes I realize that NY is not as big as Texas or some other states, but its a long enough drive for me. All I was doing was expressing the fact that this tour looks great, I would love to go and hoping it was coming to NYC. Just cant deal with the gas prices for a trip like that, I got a mortgage to pay.
