SLASH Goes From Guitar Hero To Fashion Hero - July 10, 2008

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash is teaming up with longtime friend and "Australia's Next Top Model" stylist Jonathan Pease to work on a video game centered around fashion and styling. According to The Daily Telegraph, Pease is heading off to Los Angeles to launch the new venture with Slash. No further information is currently available.

Slash provided an original track for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and made an appearance in-game as a boss battle character. The legendary guitarist was not, however, easy to get to: In order to "unlock" Slash (who donned a motion-capture suit so game makers could track his every pluck), players had to face him in a one-on-one shredding duel after completing all the songs in the game.

	Slash is an amazing guitarist. I never thought that I'd say he could be one of my all time favorites but it's true. His leads are melodic, tasteful, well played, and spill with feeling that gives me chills. Slash also seems to be a real cool dude. Right on Brother!
