HEARSE: New Album Update - July 18, 2008
HEARSE, the Swedish "death 'n' roll" band featuring former ARCH ENEMY singer Johan Liiva and ex-FURBOWL drummer Max Thornell, has issued the following update:

"Album No. 5 is very much in the making right now. The drums were re-recorded in The Black Chapel in March (first recording got fucked-up) and guitars and bass have been recorded during the spring and summer. This time the band has also used the now legendary Swedish studio Studio Gubbsjuk for some guitar recordings. The Black Chapel has been booked again and the final recordings (vocals and guitars) are to take place in early September. There's no release date or album title so far, but as soon as there are it'll be reported."

HEARSE's fourth album, "In These Veins", was released in North America on September 18, 2007 via Candlelight Records. The follow-up to 2005's "The Last Ordeal" was recorded and mixed by Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH).

Formed by longtime friends Thornell and Liiva, HEARSE recorded a demo before signing with Hammerheart Records. The band released a limited-edition 7-inch single, entitled "Torch", prior to issuing their debut album, "Dominion Reptillian", in 2003. A follow-up effort, "Armageddon Mon Amour", came out in 2004. The group's third CD, "The Last Ordeal", was released in August 2005 through Holland's Karmageddon Media.

everytime this band gets mentioned its about the vocalist and drummer. But to me the reason this band is so good is their guitarist. Some of the melodic riffing is amazing
