JUDAS PRIEST: More Shows In Mexico, South America Announced - Aug. 4, 2008
British heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST have announced more dates for Mexico and South America. The group's updated itinerary is as follows:

Oct. 27 - Monterrey, Mexico - Arena Monterrey
Oct. 29 - Guadalajara, Mexico - VFG Arena
Oct. 30 - Puebla, Mexico - Auditorium Siglo XXI
Oct. 31 - Mexico City, Mexico - Sportspalace
Nov. 06 - Santiago, Chile - Arena
Nov. 08 - Buenos Aires, Argentina - Luna Park

JUDAS PRIEST will perform at Hard Rock Café New York in Times Square tonight (Monday, August 4) as part of syndicated broadcast personality Eddie Trunk's event to celebrate his 25th anniversary in radio broadcasting. Trunk, who broadcasts his weekly radio shows, "Friday Night Rocks" on Q104.3 in the New York City listening area and "Eddie Trunk Live" on XM Radio (satellite radio), shared details of the exclusive invitation-only event and instructions on how to win tickets during his live show on Q104.3.

Sounds good but looks awful. His stage presence is just a shadow of what it used to be.

I don't come here to post venom about the bands I don't like, much less the ones that I do, and Priest has been one of the best for decades. But I just heard both CDs of Nostradamus... and I am personally offended. Not just disappointed; it's not just that I don't care for it - I am personnally offended. This is one of the worst chunks of overblown ego inflated piles of fecal matter in the history of metal. I haven't been this put off by a band since Kiss did that Phantom movie when I was in grade school. This makes Ram it Down sound like Painkiller; Parental Guidance like Victim of Changes. Terrible, awful, horrid stuff. No redeeming value whatsoever. They'll always be my heroes, but it will take me a long time to forgive them for this...
