According to
InsideNoVa.com, a man accused of refusing to get out of a seat that he wasn't supposed to be in at the Bristow, Virginia stop of the
Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour was charged with assault and battery, Prince William County police said.
Brock Edward MacKellar, 21, Frederick, Md., was removed from the concert around 10 p.m. Sunday (August 17) after allegedly yelling and making threats to a staff member who was trying to get him to move to the seat that matched his ticket, said police spokeswoman
Sharon Richardson.
That's when
MacKellar apparently began to fight with the employee, a 28-year-old Haymarket man, police said.
MacKellar was released on his own recognizance,
Richardson said, but a court date was not available.
The
Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival lineup included
SLIPKNOT,
DISTURBED,
MACHINE HEAD,
DRAGONFORCE,
MASTODON,
AIRBOURNE,
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH,
BLACK TIDE and others.
