Guitarist KRIS NORRIS Rumored To Have Left DARKEST HOUR - Sep. 10, 2008
Guitarist Kris Norris is rumored to have left the Washington D.C. metal band DARKEST HOUR in order to focus on his solo projects.

Kris Norris recently added an option to buy his instructional DVDs for direct digital download in iPod MP4 format optimized for TV viewing. Each DVD costs $10. The main difference between the digital version and the DVD edition is that the DVD is sold as a DVD-ROM which contains the booklet and extras, including previously unreleased songs featured throughout the DVDS and two subtitle tracks.

DARKEST HOUR's latest album, "Deliver Us", was released in July 2007 via Victory Records. The follow-up to 2005's "Undoing Ruin" was recorded at the Warehouse in Vancouver, Canada.

That maybe they will be PUNK ROCK again... Hell yeah, I agree with you. They used to be fucking awesome!!!

After "Hidden Hands...", they just went downhill... Now, they just sound like every other hardcoremo band.

I sincerely hope this isn't true. Chris is one hell of a musician and has really played a vital role in progressing the band. Deliver Us was absolutely incredible. I realize there are a lot of people who think their earlier work is much better but I'm not one of them. This is seriously depressing news.....

darkest hour actually got better when Norris joined that band. otherwise they woulda just recorded the same album with shitty drumming over and over again. at least the solos made it a little meatier than just the same vocals over the same drum beats. their early stuff was good. but it got old fast. they needed to progress. undoing ruin was their pinnacle, and even it had too much kickdrum
