APOCALYPTICA: AREA4 Festival Performance To Air On German TV - Sep. 12, 2008
APOCALYPTICA's performance at the Area4 Festival, which was held August 29-31 in Lüdinghausen, Germany, will be broadcast on WDR's (German public TV) series "Rockpalast" on Monday, September 22 between 12:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.

As previously reported, APOCALYPTICA has contributed a special remix of "S.O.S. (Anything But Love)", done by Justin Lassen, to the original soundtrack for the long-awaited horror movie "Midnight Meat Train". The latest film adapation of a Clive Barker book, the horror thriller stars Bradley Cooper ("Wedding Crashers", TV's "Alias"), Vinnie Jones ("X-Men: The Last Stand", "Snatch"), Brooke Shields ("Nip/Tuck"), and Leslie Bibb (the upcoming "Trick R' Treat", "Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby").

APOCALYPTICA recruited FUEL frontman Toryn Green to handle lead vocals on the quartet's recent North American tour, which began on April 11 and concluded on May 19. The group initially enlisted Johnny Andrews, who co-wrote the band's current single, "I'm Not Jesus", to sing on the trek, but Andrews was replaced after just a handful of shows. In addition to "I'm Not Jesus", Andrews also co-wrote another track called "S.O.S. (Anything But Love)". Both tunes are from APOCALYPTICA's new album, "Worlds Collide", which arrived in stores in the U.S. on April 15.

Other guests on "Worlds Collide" include SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor, LACUNA COIL singer Cristina Scabbia, drummer Dave Lombardo from SLAYER and vocalist Till Lindemann of RAMMSTEIN.

Cristina Scabbia performed with APOCALYPTICA at this year's Download festival which was held June 13-15 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, UK.
