between 1982 and 1987 -
LOUDNESS was an absolute GLOBAL MIRACLE !!!
so tragically under-rated !
Obviously under-appreciated by the average American turd-dropper,( i.e. the type of hollow individual who would buy Meturdlicka albums from 1991-present)

Just the chance to watch Akira Takasaki playing "Exploder" is enough to justify paying for this DVD !

Unfortunately, Loudness deteriorated after 1987 and have, to this day, not regained their previous heights.

Anyhow, overall :

LOUDNESS >>> Meturdlicka

I WILL find a way to obtain this DVD, even if I have to order it from Japan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can bash metallica all you want, but do you really expect me to write, "Oh man Morgagne, you know I liked the New Metallica until I saw your post. dude it changed my life in like three seconds, you're right man, I forgot, they do suck..." Fucking grow up you pussy.

Anyway, Loudness is awesome, and I'm glad they are releasing this. I bought Thunder in the East when it came out, and this band has been kicking ass since. HAIL LOUDNESS (and METALLICA!)

COMMENT | Really? - 4 discs

Are 4 discs necessary? Which is the better guitar solo Song 68 or Song 79? This band was decent, but not 4 discs decent.

released in Japan? How easy will it be to get in the US? CD inzane has Loudness DVDs you can buy - EXPENSIVE! So aren't there DVDs already available to buy over there? And unless you can get 'em at a cheaper price than usual, why not continue to order from CDinzane? Well, I got shortchanged by CD inzane once over Christmas holiday 2-3 years ago and they never put the invoice in my package and I was shortchanged on a cd they ran out of: Dreams of Sanity 'Komodia'.

One of the few Japanese metal bands that could represent and carry their own internationally while most other English language Japanese outfits were your typically desperate imitations. Loudness really understood the heavy metal culture and had the talent to represent it with the best of 'em.

What an incredible night it must have been. I grew up on an isolated Indian reserve in Northern Ontario (I'm white) and didn't get out until I went to college so I missed out on a decade of potential concerts. I've made up a lot of ground since leaving mind you, but now we're left with Ronnie Lee Keel, international country superstar (well, not exactly), but who wouldn't be touring Canada anyway even if he was still playing great music. I do love Keel and Steeler's brand of metal which is in the same realm of the style Loudness played.
