KORN Singer's New Song Featuring SLIPKNOT Guitarist Posted Online - Sep. 16, 2008
According to The Pulse of Radio, KORN singer Jonathan Davis has posted a new song called "Got Money" at his personal web site, jdsfa.com. The track is taken from his upcoming solo album and is a cover of the rap hit originally done by T-Pain and Lil Wayne. Davis' version features guest appearances from SLIPKNOT guitarist Jim Root and KORN touring drummer Ray Luzier. Davis told The Pulse of Radio that fans can visit the web site to actually see him working on his solo debut. "You can watch me write the whole album," he said. "I have a camera in my house studio, and a camera at the KORN studio, and kids can chat with me and listen to me work and it's been fun. It's been a fun experience."

Davis says he plans to write more songs for his first solo album before recording later this fall. He hopes to have the disc out by early 2009.

The singer plans to tour behind his own record for "six months to a year" before reconvening with KORN sometime in 2009.

Davis has also posted KORN's version of "Kidnapping the Sandy Claws" from the upcoming "Nightmare Before Christmas" soundtrack album.

I hope jons solo cd aint all rappish cause that song just blows real bad. I cant believe that jim root would waste his time doing weak shit like that anyways. JD is very talented at singing and song writing so im sure he could do much much better!!!

Blabbermouth editors take note, this song IS NOT off JD's forthcoming solo album. On JDSFA.com it even says "It's not representative of the album I'm working on but it was just something fun I wanted to try".

if you actually went to the website you would have read this..

"Check out the jdfsa site and download the track I've been remixing the past few days. It is not representative of the album I'm working on but it was just somethin fun I wanted to try. Check it out. Hope you dig it."

So they did it for FUN oh my god musicians are forbidden to actually do some songs for the fuck of it huh?

has been such a big topic on BM so much lately so I'll say JD definitely knows how to throw music together IMO.
Anyone who ever cared, Korn always did something like this. Get drunk. Get friends who are musicians and throw down some stupid shit. See ANY Korn album from self titled...
The Timberlake/Timbaland impressions are fucking great! A+ for some laughs!!! lmfao

I am a Die Hard KoRn Fan and found this very amusing. The Album won't sound like this at all but, good to see'em still having fun making Music. I'm looking forward to this Album and went to the Show last year and it was sick!

that really shouldn't have been as catchy and amusing as it was.

Just goes to prove my point that ANYONE can rap. Sadly enough that song would probably do well amongst todays generic rap fans.

I don“t know why people bash this guy so much. I like his music and the evolution Korn has undergone (to me the only group of this type I listen to), got all of the albums, though I prefer their first albums.
