LEAVES' EYES Forced To Pull Out Of AMORPHIS/SAMAEL North American Tour - Sep. 16, 2008
LEAVES' EYES — the German/Norwegian band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY — has issued the following update:

"We are terribly sorry to tell you that our record label has decided to cancel our [previously announced] North American tour [with AMORPHIS, SAMAEL and VIRGIN BLACK]. This is due to the fact that the release of our first DVD has been postponed. We really regret this. Moreover, we've tried everything possible to save the tour. However, we now have to face the fact that we cannot change the situation. We wish AMORPHIS, SAMAEL and VIRGIN BLACK all the best for the tour, and we hope to be back in the States and Canada in 2009."

LEAVES' EYES recently posted a trailer for its forthcoming double DVD, "En Saga I Belgia". Watch it below. Footage on the disc was filmed on October 20, 2007 at the Metal Female Voices Fest in Wieze, Belgium and included a special stage set — the Viking ship designed by the group's tech Leebee.

LEAVES' EYES' appearance at this year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival — which was held July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany — also included the Viking ship stage set. Joining the group on drums for the Wacken gig was Alex Holzwarth, who currently plays in RHAPSODY OF FIRE and SIEGES EVEN.

As previously reported, LEAVES' EYES has been confirmed as the "special guest" at the DORO anniversary show, "25 Years in Rock", at the ISS Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany on December 13, 2008.

ok,,,,,>>>>Will each club add another local band or will there be another national act on the bill. Most clubs??????? will add other bands to fill in the slots....It doesnt mean the band on the bill will get more time on stage??Each club is different. It depends on the contracts each club makes with the bands on the bill.Hopefully crappy bands arent added to the bill.I will be at the Oct.1 show at the Chance,Poughkeepsie Ny and Thur. nights on www.kwtfworldwide.com I maybe playing some of these bands music DURING THE WRATH OF VOD METAL MASSACRE.

COMMENT | good for us!
