MOTÖRHEAD Frontman Serves As Musical Director For HBO's 'Down And Dirty With Jim Norton'
- Sep. 17, 2008
MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilminster served as musical director for "Down And Dirty With Jim Norton", hosted by outrageous comedy star Jim Norton, which kicks off its four-edition run Friday, October 3 (12:00-12:30 a.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.
Taped at New Jersey's Bergen Performing Arts Center, the series spotlights new and established talent, including Artie Lange ("The Howard Stern Show"), Bill Burr (Chappelle's show), Patrice O'Neal ("Scary Movie 4") and the legendary Andrew Dice Clay.
Norton appeared in the blockbuster film "Spider-Man" and has released two CDs of stand-up comedy: 2002's "Yellow Discipline" and 2003's "Trinkets I Won Made from Gorilla Hands". He became a New York Times best-selling author with his book "Happy Endings: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch", a compilation of journal entries, raunchy sex stories, embarrassing star sightings and pathetic childhood memories.
