CINDERELLA's JEFF LABAR: I Haven't Joined JUAN CROUCIER'S DIRTY RATS - Sep. 18, 2008
CINDERELLA's Jeff LaBar has denied that he has replaced Carlos Cavazo (QUIET RIOT, RATT) as the new guitarist of JUAN CROUCIER'S DIRTY RATS, the band featuring bassist/vocalist Juan Croucier (RATT) and drummer John Medina (BRET MICHAELS).

Commented LaBar: "Contrary to Juan Croucier's press release regarding me playing with his DIRTY RATS, I unfortunately must announce that I will not be able to do so. Priorities and prior commitments prevent me from pursing this. I must apologize to Juan and those fans who may have been looking forward to this but the announcement may have been a bit premature. I am first and foremost a member of CINDERELLA. In addition to that, I just completed recording with Frankie Banali, Tony Franklin and MISS CRAZY's Markus Allen Christopher with an exciting new project we're calling FREAKSHOW. Those of you who are in touch with these Internet rock sites and MySpace may have heard about it. I have very high hopes for what we think is a fuckin' kick-ass CD, which starts mixing today and I am very much committed to. I wish Juan the best of luck in the future and hope he and all you RATT fans will forgive me and check out FREAKSHOW when the time comes. I would also like to thank the CINDERELLA fans for your patience and loyalty as well as let you know, if you love CINDERELLA, wait till you get a load of FREAKSHOW!"

Righto, so it seems. Very clever from him to dismiss something and advertise his new project.

how do you guys Know what's going on with the guys and their respective new/side projects?? are you in the music business, do you know what was agreed to or not, depending on what time constraints Jeff's new side project had to do with maybe working with or Joining Juan's "Dirty Rats" (<--real original name btw Juan. In case anyone doesn't know you are/were in RATT, you have to throw the word in to help with name recognition?).

As Jeff wrote, the announcement of him maybe becoming a part of that other band, "May have been a bit premature", which to me sounds like, IF he has time after doing this record and seeing if they can book some shows, then he would see about playing with Juan's band. How do you see it as him using it to Pimp his new side band? He was just setting the record straight as far as I could tell. In the long run, as usual, here we go with Blabbermouth readers using this forum to GO OFF on someone without knowing the real story or any true facts.

In a day or week i'm sure, Juan will have his Own press release to explain what may have happened with this situation. Until then, I think we all need to calm the f--- down and see what's what.
