BLACK SABBATH Drummer Pays Tribute To Victims Of 9/11 Attacks; Audio Available - Sep. 18, 2008
This past Saturday (September 13), BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward hosted the September 2008 edition of "Rock 50", his monthly radio show. However, this month's episode was a little different — it was Bill's tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks from seven years ago.

The show started off with a three-minute speech by Ward about the program. You can download an MP3 of that introduction at this location.

"Rock 50" airs between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. PST on WPMD, a college radio station at Cerritos College in California. The show, featuring its regular host Mike Stark, is broadcast over the Internet every Saturday. You can listen to the program live online at this location.

Good for Bill.

Not your typical musician, hell.. Tom Morello or Al Jourgensen would have spent the entire program arguing about how 9/11 was an inside job.

Bill's always been a class act.

Class move by Bill, screw the Morello's and Al Jourgensen's of the world anyway. They can go play pin the tail on the donkey with Zach the dunce LaRocha.

Awesome job... he did it the right way. Instead of arguing about 9-11, honor the ones lost.

I do honor the victims of that horrible day. But, it was indeed an inside job. Anyone who has looked at the evidence will find this to be true.

That's awesome. Funny how Bill's showing his values while people like Geezer Butler bitch and moan but offer no real solutions to problems that they bitch about. Also funny how Bill was the only member of Sabbath that felt wrong about dismissing Ozzy. Sounds like someone's heart and values are in the right place. Rock on, Mr. Ward...

Asking critical questions about the "official story" of 9/11 does NOT dishonor the victims! If someone killed your loved ones, wouldn't you want to know who was responsible even if it was hard to swallow? Watch "Loose Change" or "9/11 Mysteries"
