ROCKLAHOMA 2009: First Details Announced

Next year's edition of the Rocklahoma festival will be held on July 9-12, 2009, according to Catch The Fever Music Festivals, the parent company who organizes the event.
Mark Nuessle, General Manager of the Catch the Fever Music Festivals, commented, "Rocklahoma is one of the premier rock festivals in the United States and we are excited about next year being the biggest one ever!"
Artists will be announced in the upcoming months.
Rocklahoma is one of the largest rock festival of its type featuring music from the eighties. Attendance has come from all fifty states and six out of seven continents.
VIP Ticket renewals for Rocklahoma 2009 end on October 1. Beginning October 26, the general public will be able to purchase VIP seats with all of its privileges for only $400 plus tax and handling. VIP tickets will be for all four days instead of the three days from prior years. They can be purchased by calling toll free 866-310-2288 or by going online at www.feverfest.com.
Beginning Monday, October 6 autographed guitars from the artists who played the first Rocklahoma 2008 will be available on eBay, with proceeds going to benefit the many volunteer charity groups that work the festival.
Rocklahoma 2008 merchandise will be closed out and will be available for purchase beginning Friday, September 19, 2008. For more information go to www.feverfest.com or toll free at 1-800-256-5637.
Catch the Fever RV Park will be open to the public beginning in October. Located four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma, Rocklahoma also has a Picture Alley that allows anyone in attendance to approach the stage during any performance and take photographs of a favorite artist at close range.

....next year's festival will have the same bands as before, but they will also drag out some other, long-forgotten 80's bands and thats what will be so "special" in 2009. BFD

yea keep trashing the 80's bands while you wait for festivals for your grunt and growl bands in 20 years, like that will ever happen. most if not all will be forgotten 10! even bad hair bands are better than any of that shit!

our "grunt and growl" bands are still going 20+ years later too - the difference though, is they still make relevant and good music - something Cinderella, Poison, etc can't admit to!

I would but there is nothing more lame then the barron wasteland of Oklahoma and all of natures cruelest mistakes that live there along with has been rockers that still try to capture their days of fadded glory

Nature doesn't make "cruel mistakes" because that in and of itself is impossible. Cruelty is intentional. Mistakes are not. But yeah, hair metal sucks, along with Oklahoma.
