Atlanta rap/metal pioneers
STUCK MOJO will release their new album,
"The Great Revival", on November 28 via Napalm Records. The track listing for the CD, which was mixed at producer
Andy Sneap's (
MEGADETH,
MACHINE HEAD,
NEVERMORE,
ARCH ENEMY,
EXODUS)
Backstage studio, is as follows:
01.
Worshipping A False God02.
15 Minutes Of Fame03.
Friends04.
The Flood05.
Now That You're All Alone06.
There's A Doctor in Town07.
The Fear08.
There's A Miracle Coming09.
Country Road10.
Invincible11.
Superstar Part 1 (The Journey Begins)12.
Superstar Part 2 (The World Of Egos And Thieves)As usual, there will be some surprises as far as the new songs are concerned. According to
Rich, one track sounds like it would have fit quite well on 2000's
"Declaration Of A Headhunter".
If you've enjoyed the various twists and turns that
MOJO records have taken in the past (stylistically speaking), then you should enjoy this one. If you're waiting for them to rehash stuff they've done before, you might be somewhat disappointed.
In a recent interview with
Hit Parader magazine,
Ward stated about the songwriting process for the band's follow-up to
"Southern Born Killers", "I just started the writing process for the new album and so far the stuff I'm coming up with is the stuff dreams are made of. You know what they say, if you don't love yourself.... I've got the next two months set aside to completely dedicate myself to this album and I've never been more excited about making the doughnuts! You know, almost all artists think that their latest album is their best, or at least they almost always state that in interviews. For most bands, it is usually NOT the case, but it ALWAYS is for us!"
