PAINDIVISION To Release 'One Path' This Week - Sep. 23, 2008
Australian metallers PAINDIVISION will release their second album, "One Path", on September 27 via Riot Entertainment. Production was handled by Dan Quinlan, who has worked with DEICIDE, SUFFOCATION and DISMEMBER on their recent tours of Australia.

Commented the band: "This time we have really infused a lot of our influences like MOTÖRHEAD and W.A.S.P. meets RACER X, again with our own brand and power."

According to a press release, PAINDIVISION's "One Path" is "an album that truly delivers a return to uncompromising heavy metal — huge guitars, hurricane drumming, and vocals from hell. With tracks such as 'The Gates of Ashen Wake' and 'Flames of the Reaper', the band proves it's not afraid to pay tribute to the past while injecting a sophisticated, contemporary aggression into each cut. Strong melodies, razor-sharp shredding and a crisp production have crafted 'One Path' into one of the stand-out albums this year."

PAINDIVISION is currently working on a two-hour DVD, "Beyond The Pain - Live In Japan". Created by filmmaker Stephen Rangott, the DVD will include the highlights of the band's Japanese tour, an in-depth studio documentary on the recording of the album, the history so far, guitar instructional footage from Stu Marshall and an extended picture gallery.

Seriously why the fuck are you A: Having this on the same night as Pig Destroyer, and B: Playing at Abduction? Abduction is NOT a metal club & the 'abduction crew' as they like to refer to themselves are a bunch of annoying fucks best avoided unless you happen to have a pool cue handy...

I really don't care where they playing at or who else is playing somewhere else in town on the same night, I'm going to be at the Paindivision gig! Pig Destroyer *Snort* they can't compete with the power and talent of Paindivision.

On the upside wankers like TSM wont be at the gig so that's another bonus to be at the Lewisham Hotel instead of what ever pit of farm yard crap he will be wallowing in.

Bring on 'The Pain'
