SAMMY HAGAR Schedules 'Rockline' Appearance - Oct. 14, 2008
Sammy Hagar will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Wednesday, November 5 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with the group by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).

Hagar will release a new album on Loud & Proud Records on November 18. "Cosmic Universal Fashion" marks the first official release for Loud & Proud, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists. The title track and first single, "Cosmic Universal Fashion", was written as an online collaboration between Hagar and a young Iraqi rock and roller by the name of Steven Lost. Released via Sammy's web site RedRocker.com and already a YouTube sensation, the video (see below) was produced in the same spirit as the classic VAN HALEN video for "Right Now" and strikes a timely chord with November's upcoming Presidential election.

"We are lightyears ahead of where we thought we'd be in 1992, yet there will always be issues that continue to need our attention," said Hagar. "With the upcoming election, global and national issues are at the forefront of everyone's minds. 'Cosmic Universal Fashion' is not about supporting left or right, blue or red, but rather an attempt to appeal to people on a personal level to get involved."

"Cosmic Universal Fashion" track listing:

01. Cosmic Universal Fashion
02. Psycho Vertigo
03. Peephole
04. LOUD
05. Fight For Your Right To Party
06. Switch On The Light
07. When The Sun Don't Shine
08. 24365
09. I'm On A Roll
10. Dreams/Cabo

Loud & Proud President Tom Lipsky comments, "Great artists make great music. Sammy Hagar and 'Cosmic Universal Fashion' prove that once again. I am thrilled that he is kicking off the partnership between Loud & Proud Records and Roadrunner Records."

sammy ur embarrassing urself with ur last few releases...and in concert you suck now. i was at bone bash in california, u just play all ur waborito's crap..i hate that shit...you've turned from a great rocker into george thourogood, the same stupid riff over and over again...how u dont play red, reckless, or young girl blues is beyond me, they're only the 3 best solo tunes you've ever written...wake up!

Keep rockin Sammy! Hey Sactown, its not 1979 anymore. I like the old stuff too, but Sammy doesn't want to stay focused on that. He's got 35 years of material, so he can't play everything.
