MEGADETH's JAMES LOMENZO Meets DAVID ELLEFSON

Bassist James Lomenzo (MEGADETH, ex-BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, WHITE LION) attended the Bass Player LIVE! convention, which was held November 1-2, 2008 at S.I.R. Studios in Hollywood, California.
Commented Lomenzo: "What a trip! I can't believe how many talented bassists there are out there. I saw pre-teens ripping it up, seasoned pros putting it across and some of my own personal heroes hanging out and taking it all in.
"Speaking of heroes, I had the pleasure of meeting someone whom I'm sure you guys would all be interested in: Mr. Dave Ellefson [former MEGADETH bassist] himself! It was really great to chat with someone whose legacy I have had the great honor to carry through for MEGADETH. What a treat to find out what a down-to-earth guy he is, and how ironic to meet him in the very same place where I had my first rehearsals with MEGADETH (S.I.R. Studios, Hollywood) round about three years ago. Lord knows I could have really used his help back then.

"So, back to Bass Player LIVE!... Throughout the two-day event, I got to demo my signature Ashdown Hyperdrive distortion pedal to quite a few bassists. It was great to see the consensus of those who played through it was a 'thumbs up / gotta have one!'"

what a bummer tonight that Obama won!!
All I can say is that God bless America and lets hope that Obama will guide us right. I still believe that Mccain would have done a better job but lets hope that Obama is the right guy for the job.
At least I'm happy that Chinese Democracy is coming out finally, Axl Rose \m/

If that was the case, then McCain would have won in a landslide, idiot. White people make up the majority of this country, so by your logic, they would have voted McCain.
McCain wanted to freeze spending to cut 1% of the budget (ear marks). He wanted to lower taxes on rich Americans that already pay less percentage-wise than the middle and lower class. He wanted to divide Americans through his ads that insinuate hate and distrust of American leaders (why would Obama ever be called a terrorist/Muslim/unAmerican if McCain hadn't implied he was?). McCain supports the neo-con view that we must stick our nose in every country's problem. Neoconservatism failed. Get over it.
Awesome meetup between two bass gods, btw. If only I was that good. ;_;

both good guys, both GREAT bass players.
James' job is safe, Megadeth's line up is the best since Friedman and Menza were on top of their game.
The average American does not look at America as black or white. You need to stop judging America by random douchbags who type behind the safety of a keyboard, or that you see on television.
The average American voted for Obama.
The average American applauded McCain for his efforts.
The average American disapproves of at least some things George Bush Jr. did during his eight years.
