"Chinese Democracy" will be released in the U.S. on November 23 exclusively through Best Buy. The 14-song set will be available on CD, vinyl, and as a download. While singer Axl Rose has remained silent, co-managers Irving Azoff and Andy Gould said in a statement, "The release of 'Chinese Democracy' marks a historic moment in rock n'roll. We're launching with a monumental campaign...that matches the groundbreaking sound of the album itself. GUNS N' ROSES fans have every reason to celebrate, for this is only the beginning."

One new song, "Shackler's Revenge", debuted on September 14 through the Rock Band 2 video game, while another, called "If The World", can be heard in the new film "Body of Lies".

"Chinese Democracy" is the first album of new material from GUNS N' ROSES since 1991's "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II".

Well I think that's gonna be a tad bit hard to police, read: IMPOSSIBLE!

And what about London listening events?! For fuck's sake even Göteborg has a full blown release party cranking!

and to give it the real feel of a gnr show, the sound's gonna cut out about 4-5 songs in, w/ no explanation. everyone will then be asked to please leave, and riots will ensue.

VR had its moments, the first CD is pretty consistent, the 2nd one has some good ones, American man is a great tune, the opener is good. I think it was a bad mix, Scott likes to push the boundries, more modern sound which compromised Slash's straight forward playing, sound. It watered him down, rendered him powerless, almost NIN sounding at times, or along those lines. But without a Weiland type, it might end up being too straight forward like a Snakepit album(which are great but probably not major label stuff). I have to believe Duff & Slash who seem pretty level headed, that SW was a donkey towards the end, F'd up again. The STP Guys wanted to kill him this summer for being wasted, late, the usual. Wonder if he'll pull that BS on his Galloshes solo tour? It will get cancelled mid tour for lack of interest, or "ill health".

they told us to keeps ours off @ the milwaukee show, but i had no problem talking or texting. if you held it up though, security was on you pretty quick. glenn also kept pointing out into the crowd. not sure if it was for that, or cuz he was trying to enforce a no smoking policy during the show.
