GUNS N' ROSES' 'Chinese Democracy' Single Tops iTunes Charts

GUNS N' ROSES' new single, "Chinese Democracy", has topped the general iTunes Music Store chart in Greece, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Finland. In addition to being the No. 1 song and No. 1 rock song in the above countries, it's the No. 1 rock song in the iTunes Music Stores in the U.S., Canada, France and the U.K.
GUNS N' ROSES' new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be released in the U.S. on November 23 exclusively through Best Buy. The 14-song set will be available on CD, vinyl, and as a download.
One new song, "Shackler's Revenge", debuted on September 14 through the Rock Band 2 video game, while another, called "If The World", can be heard in the new film "Body of Lies".
"Chinese Democracy" is the first album of new material from GUNS N' ROSES since 1991's "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II".

My opinion is G N' R was Axl's and Izzy's. They would of made it with just them two. On the other hand I can see people being upset with him marketing this as G N' R. But, I would rather see Axl using the name since the rest of the, somewhat, original lineup would have disgraced it with the mediocrity, at best, they have done outside of a Guns project. Axl has proven he was and is the backbone of the band.

Well,guess a 12 year hype has to work on SOMEONE.
I just cant see anyone but washed up strippers buying this for their 3 PM set. Maybe some 30 something guys with man crushes on Axl still,but besides that,who?
The band is a joke now. Axl was always the weakest link. Unless you were a teenage girl,or gay. But hey,American Idol is popular,so i guess anything is possible.
Anyone that takes that long and that much money on an album is a tool. Doesnt matter who they are. Make sure to buy a shirt when you buy the CD,so we know who you are to laugh at.

The Tienanmen Square Massacre is another thing that relates to the bicycle. The students built a barricade out of bicycles. However they didn't with stand the tanks.
One of the most haunting images to come from the massacre is the images of the slayed and crushed human bodies tangled amongst the crushed bicycles.

Velvet Revolver wasn't meant to sound like Guns N' Roses but in terms of the quality of the material, Chinese Democracy is far superior in my opinion. Now that Robin has supposedly left the band I would personally really like to see Axl bring Izzy back into the band. It would make more sense than grabbing some other random session musician who will end up walking out later on.

it will succeed because this isnt a band trying to bring back their style with songs about the olden days of 80's rock, its new, experimental, and different, and when u have a guy who writes amazing lyrics, you cant go wrong.
I m sure half the people on here wont like it cuz there is no screaming or growling
