Arrested For Stage Diving At PAPA ROACH Concert - Nov. 14, 2008

According to TheDay.com, an Oakdale resident was arrested Wednesday (November 12) after police say he got a little rowdy during a PAPA ROACH concert at Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Police said Benjamin Sostre jumped onstage during the concert. As security was escorting him off the stage, he did a "swan dive" off the stage, which resulted in one of the security guards falling with him.

Sostre, 20, was charged with breach of peace.

He was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Dec. 4.

"Hollywood Whore", the new video from PAPA ROACH, can be viewed below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming fifth major label album, "Metamorphosis". which was originally scheduled for release this fall but was bumped to March of 2009.

"Metamorphosis" will follow up 2006's "The Paramour Sessions". The disc will mark the recording debut with PAPA ROACH of ex-UNWRITTEN LAW drummer Tony Palermo, who replaced founding drummer Dave Buckner last year after Buckner went down with personal issues.

	Maybe they're not Messhugah or whatever you guys hold up to be elite "metal" but if you've seen em you know they put on a pretty damn good live show at the very least. When they opened for GNR the other year, they had everyone in the place goin crazy, yet Sebastian Bach had everyone waiting in line for a beer. Don't be fooled by what the record labels push out as singles, they've got some great material in their catalogue.

	Stage divers should be arrested regardless of what show they're at. Nothing ruins a concert faster than some stupid douche jumping off stage and landing on your fucking head.

	stage divers are among the most annoying people on Earth, along with Blabbermouth posters of course ;) when I go to a concert, I want to see the band, not a bunch of retards showing themselves, disturbing musicians and hurting people if they want to jump, there are bridges or cliffs waiting for them

	I was actually at that concert and saw the dude! Jacoby from Papa Roach made mention of it... saying he was that fucker when he was younger. I was there supporting the boys from my hometown (Staind) and actually thought Papa Roach did a hell of a show. Jacoby actually came out into the crowd which I thought was pretty cool... he walked right by me... And yes, I do like Papa Roach and Staind. Bash it all you want. I don't give a shit. Staind puts on a hell of a show

	I´m with you: I don´t care about this band, but I don´t understand people who bash stagedivers. I find them funny and normal as long as there are no problems. I´ve seen them so many times that I even laugh at the way they act, but I don´t bash them at all, I support them and they are a necessary part of the concert as long as there are no problems.

	stage diving IS metal! The 20 year old who dragged the security gaurd off the stage with him sounds pretty cool except for the fact he was doing it at a Papa Roach show. Papa Roach is for Douche-Bags! It sounds like Papa Roach is washed-up if they're touring the "Casino" scene. Fucking Lame! The security gaurds were probably trying to stop this youth from injuring Papa Roach's douche-bag senior-citizen Casino crowd fanbase from breaking a hip from the impact! Hahahahaha!!!!
