MÖTLEY CRÜE's TOMMY LEE Working On New METHODS OF MAYHEM Album

MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee revealed during an interview with Hellena Mihailidou of Greece's Metalzone.gr that he is currently working on a new album from his METHODS OF MAYHEM project. Tommy hopes to get the CD completed by next May/June and have it released before the end of 2009. Lee's entire interview with Metalzone.gr is available for download as an MP3 audio file at this location. Lee formed METHODS OF MAYHEM in 1999 after he left MÖTLEY CRÜE. The all-star project collaboration with rapper TiLo featured input from LIMP BIZKIT's Fred Durst, THE CRYSTAL METHOD, Kid Rock, Snoop Dogg, and Mix Master Mike. After signing to MCA, METHODS OF MAYHEM issued its self-titled debut LP in late 1999. MÖTLEY CRÜE has revealed the dates and venues for its upcoming North American arena tour, which will begin on February 9 in San Diego and finish up on March 18 in Portland, Maine. The bill will also include HINDER, THEORY OF A DEADMAN and THE LAST VEGAS, winners of the first "Guitar Center On-Stage: Your Chance to Make Rock History" contest. Tickets for the road trip go on sale Friday (November 21) in most markets, with prices ranging from $25 to $75. This will be the CRÜE's first North American trek since this past summer's Crüe Fest package. Many of the dates on the new tour will be in cities that Crüe Fest did not reach. Another edition of Crüe Fest is in the works for next summer.

but i'll give this to tommy...as far as solo music goes at least he does something different,things that couldn't end up on a motley crue record.there's nothing i hate more when someone does a solo album & the music's not really any different than the stuff they do with their regular band.

ok... do something different on your solo project is fine... but not THAT CRAP!!! M.O.M. is trenty gargabe... Tommy got what was hip, called some "celebrities" and called that shit a record... Even for that kind of music, that record sucked!!! Will the new M.O.M. sound like those emo bands now?!
His solo records weren't that bad... But Tommy is not a rocker anymore... he's a celebrity like Lindsay Lohran (yeah! wanna-be DJ crap), Britney Spears, those NSync guys... anyone on E!... He's not into music but he wants to get all attention for him...

The one side to Dave Grohl is that he has inspired too many drummers to believe that they have more talent than just drumming. Unfortunately that is usually not the case. Dave is an anomaly.

The solo discs are not THAT bad but nothing Butch Walker never done before (and better than you)... You're an old fuck... Don't try to be hip... Lots of artists aged in a good way and still kick ass nowdays... and STILL fuck young groupies, by the way... Stop hangging out with stupid wanna bees like Dave Navarro and quit the "i'm a celebrity" routine!!! You rip with the Crue, but you're nothing without them... I mean, nothing worthy checking out... Oh god... I'd already erased that horrid band from my memory... and now you brought it all back!!! The worst Ozzfest ever!!! Douchebags in the parking lot were actually making fun of dudes with long hair... one of the biggest WTF moments ever in my life... was a bunch of Papa Roach & Crazytown fans if I remember correctly. Something's wrong if people with long hair are getting made fun of at Ozzfest for having long hair... it is supposed to be a metal festival. Thanks again for booking those shit bands, $haron.

good news, at least hes making music, he made 3 ok to good solo albums in a few years time while Metallica took almost 20 years to write an ok album(Death Magnetic). yea and i agree at least he's doing something different with his solo stuff. just like Scott Weiland, am listening to his new album now and its great, very different but great. hahaha and how is Dave Navarro a wannabe? wannabe what? he have more talent in his little finger then most of us here have, and he's a great guitarist, and so what he's old? cant he have fun because of that?? and they live in Hollywood, lets not forget about that, its not like they are typical family guys.

Yo Yo wigger Tommy is back in the hizzle. I worked in a record store when the first one came out. A rep from whatever label he was on showed up with all these people to play an advance of the Methods of Mayhem album. Shortly after putting it on people started leaving and staff were considering suicide as an option to make it stop.

Wiggaz.com is pretty damn funny as I cannot stand fucking wiggers!! Obnoxious little punks think it's cool to take ghetto mentality which consists of crime, murder, theft, dishonesty, corruption, and hateful character overall which is supposed to be cool. The music sucks, the image, sucks, and the whole idea of trying to connect to something you really aren't..sucks.
It seems to me that Tommy Lee is just trying to always fit in with the damn flava of the week. He views this as being open minded but it seems more like he is just doing whatever he can, as everyone already knows, to remain the limelight. I thought he was pretty cool when I only knew him as the drummer of Motley Crue and met him when I was a kid. I still have friends that go out to LA and hang out at this house sometimes. However, this shit that he's doing really ain't my cup of tea. In fact, I don't know anyone who likes this shit.
As they all say, stick with your being the drummer for MC. Atleast, those first couple of albums were real cool. Now, he digs his own damn grave by portraying himself in this MTVish spotlight for clueless wigger teenagers. Apparently, he gets the thumbs up by others people and bands that kiss his ass to use him to get gigs and overall credit. He should really pay attention to what the world thinks about what he's dong here. It's his choice though so he can do what he wants. I just think it's ridiculous if it ain't drumming for MC.
