Will GUNS N' ROSES Make Surprise Appearance At AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS?

Dominic Patten of Pop Culture Examiner reports that there is a very good chance you'll see GUNS N' ROSES onstage at the American Music Awards tonight (Sunday, November 23) on ABC. " Axl [ Rose] wants to be the conquering hero," says one "well-placed music industry source" who has worked closely with some of the biggest acts in the world including GUNS N' ROSES. "The timing of the show on the night he brings out his masterpiece [ 'Chinese Democracy'] is too good for him to pass up. He knows it's a good way to get in front of old and new fans in one swoop." This wouldn't be the first time the new GUNS N' ROSES has tried this kind of surprise. Axl and his boys came out at the end of the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards to perform a medley of the band's hits. The 2008 American Music Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will be broadcast live tonight (Sunday, November 23) at 8/7c on ABC.

There is a biased and f*/-*/- up review on bravewords. who cares what the band is called guns or roses. chi dem has good music. slash or no slash, this is a great album.

Axl needs a new look. Instead of the heidous braids, he can sport the Jehri Curl sprayed with the glyceryn spray. Oh yea, don't forget the plastic shower cap...
Secondly, the Dr. Pepper promo is now going on. Go get your coupon at dr.pepper.com, that is if phucking web site doesn;t bog down. Sounds a little fishy just like all those release dates.

Holy crap. I just bought it on vinyl from Best Buy and it looks like it was fucked up in pressing. Side 2 is the same as Side 1. I'm missing side 2.
Should I keep it as a collector's item or return it? Are they all like this?

Just bought the new album. Why oh why did I waste my money. Going to see if HMV will exchange it as an unwanted gift. What a ball of sh*t. 1st song is the only OK song the rest suck the big one. Finally we can see GnR where and always will be 5 guys that rock together. Need i say who!

Anyone with half an ear and understanding for music, melody, and big production will really appreciate exactly what has been delivered here. A sweeping masterpiece of epic proportions. Look, if you are all about "the metal" and feel the need to bash Axl for being Axl, then don't waste your money and don't waste your time trying to be clever in your character assasination. We get it" You think Rose is a tool, the album sucks, you are to cool for this, whatever...
Seriously, this is on par with some of the best rock ever recorded. what a shame you are too busy taking pot shots to enjoy it with the rest of us.

..the only one who thought the album was balls?
In parts it there were some good idea's, and yes GOKINGSGO I have some understanding of music production, writing and playing, but the whole thing is a mess. It actually sounds like it has been recorded, re-recorded, and had too much tweaking.... oh hold on I guess it has. It's a shame because I grew up on Guns and Roses and this does nothing but put me off them.
Sorry but it even made St. Anger sound good.

hey everyone,
Chinese Democracy has arrived. Its a great musical journey. I would rather Axl take 14 years for this then make 4 average records. Look at what metallica made in 14 years. After the black album it has been all shit and covers. Even S&M was metallica playing old songs with an orchestra. Bottom line, Chinese Democracy is a great work of art and if you dislike it thats your opinion but it is hard for me to agree with it. As a working musician I find it mind blowing how these guys perfected this material and recorded it so perfectly. Welcome back GNR. Where is Slash and Duff's career been since Guns. Velvet Revolver doing real well. Oh yeah they got dropped from their label.

totally let down once more by a favorite band of mine... 2 good songs and the rest all filler or crap... AC DC,Metallica and GNR were 3 of my all time favorite bands and all three albums have let me down big time... they make good frisbees and coasters though.....
