No AC/DC For Scotland's T IN THE PARK Festival - Nov. 25, 2008
Contrary to a report in the UK's Sun, AC/DC will definitely not be appearing at Scotland's biggest music festival, T in the Park, in 2009. The paper claimed that the veteran rockers deliberately left Scotland off their forthcoming UK tour (in April), because they were planning to headline T in the Park later on in the year. Furthermore, the paper claimed that the appearance would be an "emotional homecoming show" because guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young were originally from Glasgow before they emigrated to Australia.

However, according to Virtual Festivals, T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis has released a shot down the report, saying, "I can confirm that AC/DC will not be playing at T in the Park 2009. We do not want AC/DC fans to buy a ticket for T in the Park under false pretences as this would not only disappoint them, but also the many people desperate to get their hands on a T in the Park ticket regardless of the headliner."

Well they are really.....as much as you don't like them they are in the metal bracket...there is no denying that one....

DC aren't really my cup of tea either but respect where its due dude....They have been there and done the lot. When i think back to the 80s/90s i can remember all those jackets at donnington and they all had dc badges / patches along with the Metallicas or whoever else on there....

You could argue the Rock over Metal thing but in the end it will fall into one category.

There is a gap in the beginning of april where they are going to put in about five more dates. I think Scotland is one of them, maybe Newcastle aswell.

"AC/DC is not metal. I'm sick and tired of articles on them."

Well, you must be suicidal with all the GnR posts then...
That they still exist as GnR is a joke, should rename as Axl and the Hired Hands.

As RiotAct666 says, AC/DC = legends.
