AXEMASTER Continuing Work On New Album - Nov. 29, 2008
Ohio-based metallers AXEMASTER have issued the following update:

"For those of you who don't know, AXEMASTER is back in the studio recording the full-length CD 'The Inner Terror'. The data on the studio hard drive that crashed a few months ago was not able to be retrieved, so the band had to start the recording over. The music is almost completed, then comes the long process of vocals, editing, and mixing. The recording's sounding excellent, MUCH better than before. The extra time has allowed the band members to better perfect their parts and write some new things that are kick-ass! The overall sounds are also improved. Brian [Henderson, drums] even added on to his drum kit which added an extra touch. AXEMASTER is on a mission to make 'The Inner Terror' a release that will find great success and propel them to become a major force in the underground scene!"

AXEMASTER earlier in the year posted a new song titled "Technoslave" on the group's MySpace page.

The band's forthcoming CD will be its first with new vocalist Dan Kaisk and bassist Jim Curtis. The album will also feature a guest appearance by ANVIL guitarist Ivan Hurd.

The CD re-release of AXEMASTER's classic debut album, "Blessing In The Skies", is available through Burning Star Records at www.burning-star.net.

Well, they're certainly not slaves to tuners.
