BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: New Concert Photos, Video Footage Available - Dec. 1, 2008
High-quality photos of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's December 1, 2008 concert in Milan, Italy are available on Metalitalia.com (pictures by Francesco Castaldo).

Fan-filmed video footage of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's November 26, 2008 concert at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway can be viewed below.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bassist John "J.D." DeServio revealed during an interview with Ralph Sutton of the nationally syndicated rock radio show "The Tour Bus" (web site) that the band will embark on an extensive headlining tour of North America in March 2009 with SEVENDUST as support. No further details are currently available.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY announced in June 2007 that it had parted ways with Roadrunner Records.

The group's sole release through Roadrunner was 2006's "Shot to Hell" album.

"Shot to Hell" sold just under 32,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release — less than the 45,000 copies shifted by BLS's "Mafia" (Artemis) back in March 2005 — to land at position No. 21 on The Billboard 200 chart.

A new Pride and Glory album. Still, I wouldn't be disappointed by the news of a BLS record on the radar.

Shot to Hell & Mafia were both terrible albums.

These guys had a pretty good thing going for a while, but Ive lost all interest in them since those days...

I am in agreement with the above mentioned that the last 2 efforts weren't the best. I prefer the earlier material that has a more raw sound to it. That being said, I have seen Black Label a few times and I have yet to be disappointed with the live sound/performance. Live, I love Zakk's guitar tone.

COMMENT | I met Zakk in 2003......
