BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: More U.S. Dates Revealed - Dec. 2, 2008
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will embark on the "Black Label Bash" headlining tour in March. This trek, which will feature support from SEVENDUST, will be the band's first in North America since the fall of 2007.

According to BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde, the current trek through Europe has been a huge success — and with the release of a greatest-hits package in the spring, "the time felt good to get back on the bus with the guys back home."

The first confirmed dates are as follows (more shows will be announced soon):

Mar. 07 - Sparks, NV - The New Oasis
Mar. 10 - Chico, CA - The Senator Theatre
Mar. 13 - Spokane, WA - Knitting Factory
Mar. 24 - Waterloo, IA - McElroy Auditorium
Mar. 25 - North Kansas City, MO - Harrah's
Mar. 27 - Milwaukee, WI - Eagles Ballroom
Mar. 28 - Chicago, IL Congress Theatre
Mar. 29 - Covington, KY - Madison Theatre
Mar. 31 - Mt. Clemens, MI - Emerald Theatre
Apr. 01 - Pittsburgh, PA - Club Zoo
Apr. 03 - Rochester, NY - Main St. Armory
Apr. 04 - Toronto, ON - Sound Academy
Apr. 06 - Hartford, CT - Webster Theatre
Apr. 07 - Scranton, PA - Scranton Cultural Center
Apr. 10 - New York, NY - Hammerstein Ballroom

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY announced in June 2007 that it had parted ways with Roadrunner Records.

The group's sole release through Roadrunner was 2006's "Shot to Hell" album.

"Shot to Hell" sold just under 32,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release — less than the 45,000 copies shifted by BLS's "Mafia" (Artemis) back in March 2005 — to land at position No. 21 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Zakk may be awesome on guitar, but his song writing sucks! The last two releases blew!!!!

NO MORE PINCH HARMONICS! Try writing a song that doesn't have them! And stop fucking up Ozzy classics with them too!

Zakk Wylde is good....but wayyy too overrated.

Eh, last time I saw a show where an "established" act tried to follow Sevendust on stage...lol...lets just say I won't be seeing Mudvayne live ever again!

Good luck Zakk & co....the 'dust live is a damn-near impossible act to follow.
