A 15-minute audio interview with vocalist
Zakk Wylde of
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and
OZZY OSBOURNE conducted by Norway's
Metal Express Radio on November 26 in Oslo has been posted online at
this location.
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will embark on the
"Black Label Bash" headlining tour in March. This trek, which will feature support from
SEVENDUST, will be the band's first in North America since the fall of 2007.
According to
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist/vocalist
Zakk Wylde, the current trek through Europe has been a huge success — and with the release of a greatest-hits package in the spring, "the time felt good to get back on the bus with the guys back home."
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY announced in June 2007 that it had parted ways with
Roadrunner Records.
The group's sole release through
Roadrunner was 2006's
"Shot to Hell" album.
"Shot to Hell" sold just under 32,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release — less than the 45,000 copies shifted by
BLS's
"Mafia" (
Artemis) back in March 2005 — to land at position No. 21 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Fan-filmed video footage of
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's December 6, 2008 concert at the
Hard Rock Hell II festival in Prestatyn Sands, North Wales, U.K. can be viewed below.
