LAMB OF GOD Frontman In 'The Graves' Movie; Official Web Site Launched - Dec. 16, 2008
According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, the official web site opened yesterday (Monday, December 15) for the upcoming horror/thriller "The Graves". The film stars LAMB OF GOD vocalist D. Randall Blythe, Tony Todd ("Candyman") and Bill Moseley ("The Devil's Rejects") and was written and directed by former comic book writer Brian Pulido.

"The Graves" is Randy's first foray into film. He plays Deacon Luke, one of the evil denizens of Skull City.

In a recent interview with Penny Blood magazine, Blythe stated about the role, "The character named Luke is pure aggression — which is what I am when on stage. He intimidates and keeps townspeople in line. I'm Tony Todd's bitch in the movie! I got to deal with a really cool special FX guy and there’s a knife involved, so there was just blood everywhere. When I got done I looked like the cover of the SAMHAIN record 'Initium'."

Blythe added, "They didn't give me a part because I'm Randy from LAMB OF GOD. I tried out for that, did a few video interviews, sent some tapes, and then went to Arizona to try out in front of the producers."

Not top 100 or top 50...
Top 5.

I think he has the best growl out there.

A lot of people feel that way about Randy. It's kinda 50 50 on that topic but,if youre talking top 50 all time I would put Axl,Layne Staley, and Bon Scott in the top 10 for sure.Oh yeah, and Jim morrison.

yes yes, good point...
ok, i change my vote from top 5, to 'top 5 in metal today' and by that i mean, new-ish bands, not classics, but of the more recently emerging metal bands, i'd say top 5 easy

Personally for me, if LOG had a different vocalist I would probably listen to this band. I enjoy the rest of the band, but to my Randy ruins every song so bad that I cannot stand to listen.

I really hate his Pig squeal thing is does.
