JUDAS PRIEST Guitarist Issues Year-End Update - Dec. 21, 2008

JUDAS PRIEST guitarist K.K. Downing has issued the following year-end update via his official web site, dubbed "K.K. Downing's Steel Mill":

"I am writing to wish everyone happy holidays and seasons greetings, and not forgetting a happy new metal year!

"2008 has been a fantastic metal year, as you know, and next year is also kicking of with a bang — not just with PRIEST on the road again but we will also be getting METALLICA, AC/DC and tons more bands again. I have also heard that the festivals are going to be bigger and better than ever before so best start saving now for the best seats in the house.

"I just saw CHILDREN OF BODOM, MACHINE HEAD and SLIPKNOT in my hometown; now there is some energy, full-on metal!!! There are definitely some great packages being put together these days. Saying that, please don't forget to check out PRIEST, MEGADETH and TESTAMENT. In fact this will be the original 'Painkiller' touring line up for Canada and North America in 1991, so if you weren't there then, you certainly can be this time around.

"Until then, again all my best for this time of year, please drive carefully and do most things in moderation.

"Lastly, my greetings and special thanks to the Millworkers once again for their great work and dedication. Here's to a fantastic 2009 for everyone!"

	He is a guitar god and class act. The Metal masters tour this year was truly one of the best shows i've ever seen. Merry christmas to you K.K. and the rest of Priest!

	Fantastic set in Devore this year!!!!! Was at the cow palace show on the Painkiller tour, surely would love to see this lineup again but sadly no passport. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO!!

	they can't do the BEST touring lineup ever: JUDAS PRIEST, ANNIHILATOR and PANTERA: 1991 EUROPE.

	The Judas Priest Painkiller tour was at the Henry J Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland California... Not the Cow Palace!!!!! Not the Oakland Colliseum Areana!!!!!!! The same place Judas Priest kicked ass on the awesome Point of Entry tour!!!!!! One of the best shows I've seen ever!!!! Judas Priest played at the Cow Palace on the Ram it Down tour I think with Megadeth and Testament... hmmm???? Maybe K.K. partied too much!!

	I think it's pretty cool that K.K. checks out younger bands. Anyways, I hope Priest does another round in the states before they do an entire tour of Nostradamus in its entirety. Surely, not Priest's greatest hour.

	I've heard that they are touring in North America again sometime next year. And I would really like to see them play Nostradamus live, because it's a great album. Fuck that guy on Blabbermouth who gave it a 5 rating.
