GORGOROTH Featured On Dutch TV; New Interview, Performance Footage Available - Dec. 24, 2008

Lauren Verster of the Dutch TV program "Fobiac" interviewed GORGOROTH frontman Gaahl prior to the band's December 3, 2008 concert at 013 in Tiburg, Netherlands. The entire show (original air date: December 19), which features footage of the band's performance and interview clips with some of the road crew and the stage models that travel with GORGOROTH on tour, can be viewed in three parts below. (Note: The report is in Dutch but most of interviews are conducted in English.)

GORGOROTH entered the studio on August 25 in the band's hometown of Bergen, Norway to begin recording eight new tracks composed by bassist King ov Hell for an as-yet-untitled new album. Along with Gaahl, King and Frost (SATYRICON) on drums, the full recording lineup includes Teloch (guitar) and Ice Dale (guitar). ENSLAVED's Herbrand Larsen once again produced GORGOROTH in the studio.

According to Gaahl and King, the Swedish appeal courts (Hovretten in Malmö) recently upheld the decision by authorities at Tingretten in the matter concerning Regain Records' unauthorized release of GORGOROTH's "True Norwegian Black Metal - Live in Grieghallen" album. Regain Records was once again found in violation of copyrights and agreements made with Gaahl and King and was ordered to cease distribution of this release.

"Live in Grieghallen" was released in June via Regain. According to a press release, the CD was recorded live at Grieghallen in Bergen, Norway by Eirik "Pytten" Hundvin and features Infernus on bass and guitar, Gaahl on vocals, and Garghuf on drums.

	The REAL Gorgoroth will crush this cover band and the rest will be history. Gaahl has turned into a parody of himself and his version of Gorgoroth a parody of the genre.

	Gaahl ruins Profetens Apenbaring, one of the best Gorgoroth songs. Pest owns Gaahl.

	but I liked the blonde girl. gaahl was appropriately antisocial. it will be very interesting to see who is awarded the band name. I think infernus is the rightful owner but don't understand why he didn't secure this years ago. either way I think both bands will really need to kick it up a notch, the music / performance isn't very exciting for me.. they look amazing though.

	I dont know abouth this band, I have the last CD and it's actually good, but I can't take them seriously. I love blonde doing the interview, smoking hot.

	that pathetically biased piece you referenced does not qualify as a documentary. how could a "really good documentary" come from someone you call a bimbo anyway? you seem a bit confused and uninformed.

	Other than perhaps where it goes pro-Infernus, how is it that biased? And the bimbo I was talking about was the presenter on the Dutch TV documentary.
