TRACII GUNS' L.A. GUNS To Change Name For Upcoming Album, TV Show - Dec. 29, 2008
A television show based on the Tracii Guns-led version of L.A. GUNS is currently being shopped to different networks. The guitarist stated in an online posting, "Our label paid to have the show made. I saw the first six episodes… fucking hilarious! Once the show is sold, then we find out the air dates, then we start marketing dollars for the release of the [group's new studio] record, so as of now it's a waiting game." He added, "The name of the band will not be L.A. GUNS for this TV show and album, but we will do some nostalgia shows and festivals as L.A. GUNS… basically just having fun and playing tunes."

Tracii Guns' L.A. GUNS is not to be confused with the Phil Lewis-fronted group, which is also continuing to record and perform under the L.A. GUNS moniker.

The band's new album featuring new singer Marty Casey will be released next year via Alexus Records.

Marty Casey is the former contestant on the hit CBS-TV "reality" show "Rock Star: INXS".

Hard Rock Hideout has posted video footage of L.A. GUNS' (the Tracii Guns version) July 20, 2008 concert at Expo Five in Louisville, Kentucky. Watch the clip below.

Can they like sort this out so we only have to hear about one shitty band called L.A Guns and not two? They could probably eek out a modest living if they could all agree to put back the original band.I mean-they wouldn't be playing arenas or anything, but they could play the bars,I'm sure they could open for Camp Freddy or Steel Panther or one of those other nostalgia trip acts....geez guys figure it out for fuck's sake!

Are we TV viewers getting that desperate to watch a crap show featuring him and some version of the band? Man, and I thought Rock of Love was a waste of airtime.

How long until there are two versions of Bullet Boys, Britny Fox and Sleez Beez? 'Cause, you know, the market is simply desperate for multiple versions of these bands. Just imagine, instead of selling out arenas once a year or so, they can sell out the same arena on a weekly basis!!

he seems awful confident about his show being sold. I hope he enjoys the 'waiting game' he may be playing it for a while

VH1 will probably buy this probably crappy show. I can see it now, The Tracii Guns show, right after Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.

My band opened for the Phil Lewis version of this band this year; it was a lot better than i thought it would be. not really into LA GUNS but was surprisingly entertained. aint rocket scientist music but they could definitely work the crowd.

Tracii Guns and Axl Rose form guns n roses

Tracii Quits or is fired (whatever who cares)

Forms La Guns which original members did not even include Phil Lewis

So Tracii Wins by formation and by Last name (but the courts didnt see it that way) don't you just love Justice

All this being said, I like the Phil Lewis version better now, but will wait and see what marty casey can do

I love L.A. Guns I saw both versions. Phil's is alot better they put on a better show and they bring a pretty nice crowd there were about 500 people at the show(bar called The Crazy Donkey here on LI) they met the crowd afterwards and were signing shit. I brought a friend and he didnt like L.A. GUNS but convinced him o go and he really enjoyed them hell of a show. I saw Tracii's version yet they were good they played a limited catalog with an hour about 9 L.A. Guns tunes and none were from ''Hollywood Vampires'', a Brides Of Destruction song, and 2 AC/DC covers. They had proboly 300 peple at that show. If they reunite they can proboly hit a summer ampitheater tour with Poison, Cinderella, or Ratt or something(are reunited and play big gigs).

I would hate to be one of the musicians in either version of the band. Having to answer that same ol' tired ass question all the time. "So which L.A. Guns band are you in?"

Oh well, anything to get out of working a respectable day job I guess.

Phil Lewis fan here.Traci doesn't deserve a reality show.Thee are too many more important bands that should get this gig.His fake "Brother" thinks he's hot shit .ANd is ugly. And they should drive drunk

Tracii Guns couldn't get any cheesier if he rolled his skanky self in Velveeta. I'm not surprised that his latest move is a reality show... but he wasn't approached to do the reality show, he did it himself and is now trying to sell it? Oh, the desperation. Is it really that difficult to get a spot on Celebrity Rehab? Really?
