STAIND Singer Gearing Up For Solo Tour, Album - Dec. 30, 2008
The Pulse of Radio reports: STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis is getting ready to hit the road for his annual post-holiday solo acoustic tour, which starts on Friday (January 2) in the Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, Nevada. Following that and some more touring with STAIND, Lewis hopes to begin recording his first solo album in the spring. Although he wants to produce the project himself, he said that those plans could always change. "I'll be doing it at my house in my studio, and I'm very open-minded," he said. "If we get to a point and I'm just like, 'You know what? To take these songs to the next level I've got to get (STAIND producer) Johnny K. to come up here and help me out a little bit,' then that's what I'll do. But as it stands, I'm gonna attempt to do it myself."

STAIND will head to Europe for a month of dates beginning in mid-January as the group continues supporting its latest album, "The Illusion of Progress".

The band has posted a video online for a new single from the CD, "The Way I Am", which follows "Believe" and "All I Want".

....if these casino goers aren't depressed enough after losing the mortgage payment at the tables, his show will send them over the edge for sure.

actually, the trick is to get the people that don't gamble to come to the show. After they hear and see this atrocity, they'll realize that all hope is lost and spend all of their money before jumping from a cliff.

just think:
your spending your last 20$(after losing 200$) at the slots , then you hear Aaron whinning in the background,"I can still taste you".

LOL!!!

You gotta figure homeboy's life is gonna get a lot more depressing when he's pouring out his faggy little heart to 3 people a night, killing time before the 1.49 buffet opens.

I'm actually thinking of hitting up that show in Uncasville. I heard his show is pretty cool. He performs both Staind songs and random shit... looking forward to his solo album too!

Staind has to be one of the most cliched rock bands ever. And I don't mean that in a good way.

And every song ISN'T about "mommy & daddy not loving me"

I like Staind and if you don't I don't give a fuck

Sorry, FYI everyone on this site doesn't wanna suck the dicks of the guys in Megadeth & Slayer and The Axl Rose Band

If you last album tanks it's always a good idea to do some solo shows where you don't have to share the cash. I agree with the above poster who said that Staind went to sh*t after Dysfunction. Every single after that album sounded the same...they just threw all creativity out the window.
